THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!

WESTERLY CREEK ELEMENTARY, nestled in the Stapleton community, is well on its way to becoming an Excellent rated school within DPS.

OUR COMMITTMENT
to each child is to provide a community in which that child can thrive and become a life-long learner.
To be an Excellent-rated DPS school, the WCE PTA’s goal is to raise $150,000 per year to supplement the funds provided by DPS.  Now more than ever, we need your help!

DID YOU KNOWColorado public school funding lags behind the national average by $1,449 per student.  The state ranks 38th in student to teacher ratios.  Colorado is 43rd in the U.S. for state expenditures on K-12 schooling as a percent of state taxable income. (Statistics from GreatEducation.org)

Recent budget cuts and decreases in per-student funding make the situation critical.  Your sponsorship can greatly help WCE’s PTA to raise the funds we need to ensure that the success we are creating for our students is sustainable.

YOUR SUPPORT FOR OUR SCHOOL
:

  • Improves the student-teacher ratios by having paraprofessionals in every classroom.
  • Funds “specials” programs not provided in the DPS budget.
  • Fills library shelves with books and provides technology upgrades.
  • Gives our children the extras they need to be successful learners.

YOUR GENEROSITY MEANS SO MUCH.
PTA fundraising provides the additional programming, services and personnel that allow our students to thrive. Support your school by participating in the following programs:
